Real Life Story: “R” is for Relationships
This is the second in a series of Real Life Story articles related to our We Speak Travel-Ease campaign.

Here at Avant Travel, we have established strong working relationships all over the world with on site travel operators, tour guides, hotel staff, restaurateurs, and yes, even drivers. I recently received the following testimonial from one of my clients that illustrates the power of these relationships to turn your next trip into a unique, one-of-a-kind travel experience:

I just wanted to send along a huge THANK YOU to Sharon for making our trip to the Amalfi Coast a once in a lifetime event for us. Every single aspect of our 9 days there was perfectly planned and so much fun. Sharon made the entire planning process a breeze by providing customized options and her expert opinion to help personalize every detail of our trip. And from the moment we boarded the plane to Italy, to the time we sadly had to leave, every detail of our time there was immaculately planned. From amazing restaurant and hotel recommendations, to seamlessly arranging our day trips and transportation, the whole planning process was made so much easier by working with Avant. We stayed in perfect hotels and dined at wonderful restaurants that we would not have known about without Sharon’s help. 

In particular, we absolutely loved our driver, “Paul” (not his actual name), as you knew we would. He was one of the highlights of our trip. I totally get why you all recommend him. He went out of his way to make our time there wonderful – from suggesting great local restaurants, to calling his contacts at restaurants to make sure we had “the best table” or a “chef visit to the table,” he went above and beyond. On our ride with him to Sorrento, John casually mentioned that he would like to buy some authentic olive oil to bring home. Paul picked up his phone and 20 minutes later, we were olive oil tasting with the owner of one of the family owned olive oil farms in Sorrento – such an amazing and spontaneous experience. (We ended up buying 12 different bottles … ha ha!)

To say that we had a blast and that we will be going to the Amalfi Coast again would be an understatement!! Even though we just returned, we will be reaching out to Sharon very soon to discuss our next adventure!
