Dining:  Specializing in Latin and Italian cuisine, the Resort’s restaurants use fresh local Costa Rican ingredients to create innovative menus that offer one-of-a-kind dining experiences. Sol y Sombra, is a casual all-day restaurant set alfresco so guests can enjoy panoramic ocean views by day or starry-lit skies in the evening. The menu features a land-to-sea concept, showcasing fresh and sustainable items such as chicken and seafood cooked in a traditional South American style on a rotisserie. There also is a premier made-to-order ceviche bar. Cena Sociale is an Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar inspired by the Mediterranean and the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Set overlooking the acclaimed Arnold Palmer designed golf course, Caracol restaurant in Costa Rica is the Resort’s premier American Steakhouse. Located next to the golf clubhouse and tennis courts, CR Burger Shack is a fun Costa Rican take on the classic American burger shack. Pool & Gym:  At the heart of the Resort – right between the two beaches – await three swimming pools immersed in lush landscaping and surrounded by spacious pool decks with abundant chaise lounges. Ticos, is the freshwater main pool joined on either side by two smaller pools, with a nearby whirlpool grotto. The lively Blanca Pool overlooks Playa Blanca (the activities beach) and is surrounded by 70 lounge chairs, with a table and umbrella for every two chairs. The adult-only Quiet Pool is steps from Playa Virador (the quiet beach), and boasts 40 lounge chairs, with a table and umbrella for every two chairs. Children enjoy their own 50-square-metre pool at the Kids For All Seasons facility with a shallow beach-style entrance, along with kid-size and adult-size chaise lounges in the shade nearby. The two-level fitness centre offers state-of-the-art fitness facilities and inspires guests with beach views through trees and greenery. Personal trainers are on hand for guidance and motivation. Spa:  Floating above Playa Virador on the azure waters of the Pacific Ocean, the Spa at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica invites you to indulge in holistic experiences inspired by nature.
